Only a small field of 24 took part in todays roll up as half of the Whitefield membership are currently sunning themselves on a warm weather training camp in Spain. However some decent golf was played on a beautiful day with mild temperatures and very little wind for the players to contend with.

In second place with a solid score of 39 points was Paul Fitzhugh with a score of 39 points wo wins £27 in pro shop credit. There were four 2’s recorded all winning £12 each. The golf course is holding up well after the recent wet weather however we could really do with a few dry weeks to get the course ready for the start of the season so fingers crossed. If anyone feels they need any help with their game over the next few weeks then please let me know, whether its your driving or short game a few pointers will quickly get you back on track. To book a lesson please call the pro shop on 0161 351 2709.
