Hi, welcome to my first blog post.

My name is Andrew Terry and I’m The Head PGA Professional at Whitefield Golf Club in Manchester. I have spent the last 16 years playing golf tournaments all over the world but in 2010 I chose to pursue a career in golf coaching. That’s when I enrolled with the PGA and successfully completed my Degree in Professional Golf Studies with the University of Birmingham. I have also qualified as a Mind Performance coach with Karl Morris.

I also like to compete in regional PGA tournaments, I spend a lot of time working on my own game so I can relate to the journey of improvement that my clients take.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife Jen and son Arlo, not forgetting our two dogs Dexter and Miley.

The purpose of my blog posts are to share and discuss ideas related to improvement. Whether its something I have discovered on a training course or an experience I have shared with a client, the blog page will be a great place to discuss and share hints and tips to improve anyone’s game.

I will be blogging about anything and everything that relates to the golf world, whether its new equipment or the latest swing theory from the PGA Tour, a wide range or subjects and topics will be explored. I will also keep everyone up to date with my own progress as I work my way back from injury with the intention of again winning on The PGA North region circuit.

I would love for you to get involved, please feel free to share your own personal stories, successful lessons you may have taken or even to clarify a point that another instructor may of suggested. If you would like me to answer any questions then please feel free to send me an email – info@andrewterrygolf.com. I welcome your feedback about my website, what you like, what you think could be better. All feedback will be appreciated.

I hope you enjoy the website
